About the Event
The Mass General Hospital Center for Telehealth and Mass General Brigham’s Virtual Care Program are committed to hosting annual virtual symposiums on key topics related to virtual care and remain committed to bringing together subject matter experiences from around the country across organizations.
Given the significant advancement of virtual care in the last year and half, this year’s symposium will focus on quality frameworks and how they have evolved, collaboratively across organizations. In this symposium, we will discuss best practices to measure the quality of virtual care, impact on patient access and experience, how to address structural inequities in virtual care and how to measure access to care, and more!
The format of the symposium will include 4 to 5 panels, which will incorporate both presentations and interactive discussion with a moderator and 3 to 4 participants per session.

About Mass General Center for TeleHealth
The Center for TeleHealth puts Mass General at the forefront of a national shift toward providing patients and the community high-quality, convenient virtual care options to augment the traditional ways in which medical care will be delivered.
Users of the telehealth service communicate, collaborate and share their information remotely using familiar and easy to use tools. These tools allow providers to interact with patients—and each other—in a way that is most convenient and best suited to the patient's medical needs.
The Mass General Center for TeleHealth’s mission is to enable more personal, more affordable and more efficient ways of giving care that unleashes the expertise and creativity of our providers and supports the gathering of patients and providers at the times and places best suited to their needs.
About Mass General Brigham Virtual Care Program
The focus of the Mass General Brigham Virtual Care team is to deliver systemic transformation to improve the virtual patient experience and access through technology and innovation. The mission of the Virtual Care team is to enable access to reliable healthcare for every patient at Mass General Brigham, whenever, wherever, and however it is needed. By improving patient access, navigation, and retention, Mass General Brigham can provide seamless care across the entire enterprise system. The Virtual Care team also explores novel technologies and platforms that will simplify and enhance the patient and provider experience.
Virtual Care at Mass General Brigham includes a suite of programs which are designed to create sustainable, lasting change by increasing access for all inpatients through virtual connections which meet both clinician and patient needs. By leveraging these digital technologies, the Virtual Care team can offer high-quality, coordinated care to patients and families via phone, video, and mobile applications. These solutions can improve access and convenience, enhance patient care, create more time for clinicians and patients, and in some areas improve overall care.
